About Us

Candleroom began as a desperate need for event space. Barterhouse, our sister store next door, always in high demand for large parties took over this neighboring space. Our Christmas pop up bar, the largest of its kind in Tampa, paved the need for more bar space and a “late night" bar. We are now even BIGGER and better than before. The two spaces join to create the ultimate event space, expanded pop ups, and last longer into the night as Tampa's most inviting cocktail club. 

Candleroom will be dedicated to quality ingredients, house mixes, and bar tenders everyone knows by name. Expect to see classics from times past all the way to modern drinks ready for your favorite photograph, consummation and night of energy. The bar will offer “street food” menus sharing hot dogs, mini Cubans, and other unique spins on street fare. All events housed will be serviced from the award wining kitchen at Barterhouse. 

Another project by the Fudi Group, excited to bring more positive vibes to the Ybor area. The Fudi approach has always been to create unique spaces, fitting of this great community, ensuring guests feel that sense of community at Candleroom. While this is a premier cocktail bar, it can be booked for Private Events and Office parties through Barterhouse. Every venue in the Fudi portfolio is designed with “approachability” in mind, everyone is welcome no matter how refined the ingredient. Great food, great fun has been our passion and purpose for three decades, all beginning in Palm Harbor Florida back in 1992.
